The scanner features a 20-page ADF for holding your documents, and the unit achieves fast scanning speeds of 40 ppm in simplex mode and 80 ipm in duplex mode. Making sure your scans are sharp and detailed, resolution is an impressive 600 dpi, and automatic skew correction ensures reliable and aligned feeding. A return scan feature enables users to scan documents up to 5mm thick, and the unit easily processes passports and ID cards without the need for a carrier sheet. Active separation technology prevents multi-feed errors by applying an optimal amount of pressure to separate documents, and the unit's automatic stacking technology returns your documents back to their original state once scanning is completed.
